This page adds to Manabisa's Privacy Policy, which covers every Manabisa product; it describes what BisaCompress itself keeps and why.

What we keep, and why

  • Your email address, to sign you in and to identify your account. BisaCompress sends you no marketing.
  • Your password, stored only as a one-way hash (bcrypt). We cannot read it.
  • A session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is strictly necessary and is not used for tracking.
  • Your files: each original you upload and the compressed result, with its name, size, kind, the format you chose, and the date. They are stored in Cloudflare R2 and kept until you delete them on the Files page (or through the API), or until your account is deleted. Deleting a file removes both the original and the result.
  • Your API keys: only a one-way hash of each key, with its name, its first characters, when it was created and last used, and when it expires. We cannot show a key again.
  • Your plan and passes, and a record of each purchase: the plan, length, amount, currency, date, and the payment reference, to give you what you paid for and to answer refund requests.

We do not sell or share your data for marketing. BisaCompress uses no ad pixels, no tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics.

How your files are processed

Files are uploaded from your browser or software straight to our private storage in Cloudflare R2. Our own compression workers, which run ffmpeg on servers we operate, download each file, compress it, and store the result next to it. Nobody looks at your files, except to investigate a problem you report to us. We do not use your files to train models.

Who processes data for us

  • Cloudflare hosts this website and stores your files (R2).
  • Oracle Cloud hosts the BisaCompress API, its database, and compression workers.
  • Paddle sells Pro and Max in US dollars as merchant of record: it processes your payment and handles tax and receipts under its own privacy notice. We receive whether a purchase succeeded, never your card details.
  • Our payment providers (Midtrans and iPaymu) process your payment when you pay in rupiah. We give them your account's email address, so they can send you the receipt for your payment, and receive whether it succeeded and a payment reference, never your card, bank, or e-wallet details.

Your choices

Delete any file at any time. Revoke any API key at any time. To delete your account or get a copy of your data, email support@manabisa.com from your account's address; deleting the account deletes your files at once, permanently. We handle personal data under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP No. 27/2022).
